Monastery of the Hieronymites

With more than 500 years of existence, it is a monastery of the Catholic order of São Jerônimo (sim, the name of the saint is with a circumflex accent, but the tourist attraction, with an acute!). Embora is not part of the traditional tourism circuit in Belém, or the local museum. Therefore, it is an extra option for you to visit, even though the appeal is different from other tourist spots. This is because the exhibitions focus on the topics that give name to the local.

Logo on the door of MAAT, pay attention to the beauty of the building, in curved shapes, facing the Tejo River.
