Unaccompanied minor from 0 to 5 incomplete years
Children from 0 to 5 incomplete years (4 years 11 months) cannot travel alone, therefore boarding accompanied by a responsible person is only possible.

Consider the responsibility of your country, parents of 3rd graders over 18 years of age (irmãos, uncles and avós) duly identified and/or judicially authorized persons, as explained in the topic of “Dúvidas gerais”.

Children and adolescents from 5 years of age and older can travel by plane, as long as they follow the following rules:

National flight
Thus, when children travel completely unaccompanied within Brazil, the country must provide:

Judicial authorization issued in the locality of residence of the minor,
Minor accompaniment service* of the company. hidden aerial, charged at the same time as the passage (*mandatory only for incomplete 12 years of age, from this point onwards, it is optional),
Authorization form provided by the company. aerial,
Identification document: birth certificate, passport or identity card with photo.
Exception: case or destination is in the metropolitan region of the city of origin or within the same region (or the case of bus travel), it does not require judicial authorization. Complete, the rest of the documentation remains obligatory.

International flight
So, in the same way as your national ones, follow the documentation required for your international ones:

Regarding judicial authorization
You must obtain this document from the Childhood and Youth Age of the minor's residence. Therefore, the recommendation is to ensure in advance, in a timely manner in case of unforeseen events.

Even though there are no problems, the process requires certain work, such as signature reconfirmation and document authentication.

The responsibility that will take a child or adolescent to the airport is that they must request authorization.

In general, you must gather all the documents of your child's upbringing or adolescent, as well as other certainties that are necessary, according to the understanding of the judge.

As the list may vary, it is ideal to verify it directly with authorities or specialized lawyers, given that each person has a specific situation. For example, if one or both countries have died, the person responsible must present a certificate of death.

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) provides an authorization model for your nationals, aiming to facilitate the life of the two responsible for creating this document.

Such a form is only necessary for minors under 16 years of age traveling accompanied by someone who is not a parent of the 3rd grade (children, uncles and avós), that is, traveling with the family.
